The problem with some Spyware is that it comes with rootkits that can hide the Spyware from Spyware scanners. This is done by modifying the kernel code that tells the spyware scanner "there are no files here".&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Rootkits are too good to be true for spyware writers. Maybe webroot will help remove spyware to never used it but heards it great.
